It's The American Way to do so. OSHA still is not funded enough, neither is the EPA. School systems are required to provide a free, appropriate eductation to handicapped/disabled children, but no one foots the bill. The FDA now has the mandate to regulate supplements but they don't have the funding to keep up with new adulterants. The USDA doesn't have enough inspectors. It's all government regulatory agencies. No useful agency has enough funding.
But it's better than nothing.
